It seems like this topic is kind of never-ending. One of the things I really struggled with in 2017 was death and I think that it will always be a topic of discussion and struggle. First thing is first when you die you either go two places, Heaven or hell. You pick, it's up to you. You control that.. isn't that amazing that someone would forgive us for EVERYTHING that we have done wrong? It overwhelms me that someone would give their sons life for mine and yours. That is true love. God sent his son to die on the cross so that we might be forgiven for all of our many sins and be saved so that we can spend eternity in Heaven worshiping and praising our Savior.
John 3:16 says "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life."
ABC's is what I was personally taught on how you go to Heaven and being saved. I know what you're all thinking (abcdefghijklmnop... not quite) but instead
A for admitting that you are a sinner
B for believing that God sent his son to die on the cross
C for confessing your Faith in him
pretty simple right? All you have to do is accept Jesus as your savor, ask him to forgive you of all of your sins and repent. But you have to want that and mean it. Your intentions have to be pure.
